About us
Peak Performance Horses specialises in the breeding and training of Western all round and Reining horses. With world class Quarter Horse bloodlines, we aim to produce conformationally and mentally sound, correct horses with talent and personality to win.
We have built our breeding programme for the last 13 years, and have carefully sourced some of the greatest founding bloodlines, as well as some of the most modern. We carefully select each potential cross to ensure the resulting foals have the desired qualities to be successful in the Open, Non Pro and Youth arenas.
Our vision
We aim to have happy horses who love their job. It is very important to have a willing partner in this sport, a happy horse is a winner.
We pride ourselves on this, and think it is the most important part of the equation. We envision an industry where rider and horse work in harmony and peace, and always leave the pen on a positive note. We aim to show that successful results CAN be achieved without a harsh hand or programme.
Our facilities
Our facilities include a 60M X 30M outdoor Arena, fenced with 3 rows of cattle railing and conveyor belt rubber. The Arena has mirrors along the short side, with 2 entry and exit points. The surface is manicured daily to ensure it exceptionally even, consistent and soft.
A 17M Round yard with 4 rows of cattle railing, and conveyor belt rubber that is 120CM high. An elaborate crush for dental, veterinary and reproductive work. 3 fully enclosed stables with lights, automatic waters, concrete floors and fans, 3 stables with 8 meter runs of each, lights, automatic waters and fans. 3 5 by 5 meter yards, with shelters and bedding. 10 paddocks of varying size, with shade trees and dam access in each. 3 foaling paddocks with enclosed shelters and lights. 4 Stallion paddocks with stand off electricity, dam access and enclosed shelters in each.
